BIOGAS DOMES

Category
/BIOGAS MEMBRANES

MSE biogas dome; It is a membrane system used for storing biogas, carbon dioxide or other gases.

The system consists of an inner membrane, an outer membrane and a ground membrane. Gas is stored between the inner membrane and the ground membrane.

The fan/air blower provides air pressure between the inner membrane and the outer membrane.

This air pressure allows the outer membrane to maintain its shape to withstand wind and snow loads. Gas can be stored or removed without changing the shape of the outer membrane.

STORAGE OF BIOGAS AT PRESSURE UP TO 95 MBAR

Biogas can be stored up to 95 mBar pressure. Storage volumes are change  between 20 m3 and 15,000 m3. The MSE biogas balloon is ¾ or hemispherical in shape.

The hemispherical shape allows limited pressure (approximately 5mBar-10mBar for gas storage), where the ¾ biogas balloon can be applied for higher gas pressures (minimum 5mBar to 95mBar).
